$10,000 Grant Deadline Sparks Strong Demand at River Parks

THE end of the $10,000 Building Boost in April triggered strong demand for new homes in Townsville, with Devine’s River Park community at Kelso achieving $3.2 million in land sales.

River Parks’ latest release has been popular with buyers, thanks to the quality and affordability of homesites, with prices starting from just $138,900.

Devine Queensland General Manager Andrew Brimblecombe said River Parks’ April sales were very satisfying in the current market.

“We believe our strong sales were a direct result of River Parks’ excellent value for money in a very competitive market, particularly with the end of the $10,000 Building Boost on April 30,” he said.

“With home sites available from an affordable $138, 900, River Parks delivers a convenient location close to all amenities, quality home and land packages and attractive surroundings with plenty of open space to kick a ball.

“With limited blocks available in the latest release, we urge all potential buyers to arrange appointments with one of our consultants as soon as possible to ensure they can secure a homesite.”

Set on 72 hectares, River Parks will be home to approximately 1000 families surrounded by landscaping, promenades of trees, parklands, open spaces, walking and cycling tracks, and a proposed village and including shopping, cafe and childcare centre.

River Parks is only 300m from the Riverway precinct, spanning 11km of the Ross River riverfront and incorporating residential, commercial, cultural, sport, and leisure amenities. The community reflects Townsville’s growing population base with a range of lot sizes and home designs suitable for a range of budgets, lifestyles and tastes.

As well as the Riverway precinct, nearby amenities include private and state primary and secondary schools, the Townsville General Hospital, James Cook University, The Barrier Reef Institute of TAFE, and the Willows Shopping Centre making River Parks an ideal location for a diverse range of homeowners including young couples, growing families, and retirees.
